Order Related:
Once your payment is authorised and your order is completed, you will receive an email from RURIethnic confirming the order placement. You will be provided with an order number / order id, details of your order and the amount you have paid. You will also receive an SMS confirming the same.
We don’t take orders over the phone. The customer would have to place their order on www.ruriethnic.com by themselves.
We apologise, but you have to place a new order with the new items. We promise to try our best to ship them all together.
The delivery time varies from cities to cities. Typically it takes upto 4 to 5 working days for all metros and Tier 1 cities. Tier 2 & 3 cities may take 6 to7 days. Some cities in Northeast India & J&K may take minimum 10 days. Due to unforeseen reasons there could be a delay in shipments and we would appreciate your patience. We would definitely try our best to deliver your shipment ASAP.
Once the order is placed, we ship the order through our designated logistics partners. All these partners are reputed logistics service providers. Once your order has been shipped you will get an email and SMS informing you the details and an AWB number using which you can track your shipment on our website www.ruriethnic.com.
Unfortunately, that is not possible at the moment. Since the system would have already passed the mobile number and address to our warehouse to pack and ship your product.
To check the status of your order, log in to www.ruriethnic.com. Go to Track your order’ under customer service on the footer section. You can add the AWB number sent to you on SMS / email to check the status of your order.
Unfortunately, we do not take pre-orders. You email us at hello@ruriethnic.com with the product SKU number and photograph and we will et you know once the product is back in stock. Also do checkout our social media stories on updates on re-stock.

You can cancel your order before it is shipped. Once shipped your order cannot be cancelled.
The orders are shipped within 2-3 working days. We strive our best to ship your order as soon as possible. The estimated delivery time is within 7 to 10 working days.
In the unlikely event that you are missing an item from your order, this is probably due to your order being dispatched in separate parcels. If this is the case, please check your emails, as we would have updated you via email. Also don’t forget to check your junk folder incase it has ended up there.

No, We offer free shipping on all domestic orders.
RURIethnic uses reputed logistics provider/partner to deliver products to your doorstep. Once your order is placed, our logistics partner would pick the product from us and deliver it to you.
Once your order is placed, a SMS would be sent to your registered phone number with the AWB#. You can track the order using the AWB# on their respective website 24 hours after your orders shipped out. All you need to do is click on the link in the email sent to you after the order is placed and track the journey of your item in real time.
We understand that you can’t wait at home or in office (whatever your delivery address is) right from the time you have placed the order till it is delivered to you. We will make 3 attempts to deliver the order to you; each attempt on a consecutive day. So incase you have missed the order delivery, please write to us at hello@ruriethnic.com or call us on +919172777874 along with your order id/ order number and we shall take care of it. Incase the package is returned to us after an attempted delivery we will be able to offer a partial refund after deduction of Rs.250 as the charges we had to bear to have the products packed, onward and reverse shipping.
Yes, we deliver all over India. If delivery service is not available through our partner courier company, we will ship your order through India post. This would be possible only on pre paid orders. Under such circumstances (where we use the service of India Post) the standard delivery timelines mentioned in our policy will not be applicable.
We have tied up with reputed logistics partners such as DTDC, Indian Post. You will receive an email with your tracking details once have dispatched your order. You can track your order 24 hours after your order has been shipped.
If you think, you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery , please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Also, take a picture of the tampered packaging before returning it to the delivery agent. Once you have clicked the image of the tampered packaging immediately send us an email on hello@ruri.in along with your order id. We will ensure that a brand new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost.
Every order is shipped to a single address. If you wish to ship products to different addresses you will need to place multiple orders
In case the order items do not reach the customer within 30 days from the shipping date from our warehouse, we will offer a full refund, provided any tracking information does not show the the delivery was attempted at the customer doorstep. However, in the case of packages for which for which we don’t have tracking details, we will assume in good faith that the package delivery was not attempted and we will refund the entire amount within 7 days from the date of raising a complaint with us.
Payment related queries:
For shopping with ease, our website offers you several payment options that are absolutely safe and secure. You can choose to pay with a credit card or debit card, which can be a maestro, master card, visa or amex, using our secure payment gateway.
There are no hidden charges. The prices shown against each product are final prices inclusive of taxes and you wouldn’t be asked to pay anymore that that.
All credit card and debit card payments on RURIethnic are processed through secure and trusted payment gateway.
Our payment gateways are extremely secure and any payment that does not come to us through the gateway gets kicked back to your source bank account. Usually this happens within a 24 hour window. You can check with your bank for confirmation.
We ensure that an order id / order number is confirmed only once our bank receives the payment from your bank. Sometimes, due to unforeseen reasons, the amount might be debited from your side but wouldn’t have been received by us yet. Don’t worry, please send us an email at hello@ruriethnic.com and we will sort it out.
If the payment fails, you can retry the payment using a different available payment method.

Refund & exchange related:
If you have received a defective or wrong product, it will be eligible for replacement Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product. You can return it to us as is with tags and packaging intact and the reverse shipping charges will be borne by us. You will have to send us a snapshot of the defect at orders@ruri.in. The replacement will be issued to you with no additional cost. In case the same product is unavailable in stock a refund will be issued in the account the payment was made from or in the form of RURIethnic credit note. The credit note can be used at once to buy any product from the website.
Once we have initiated the process for a reverse pickup, our logistics partner will pick up the product from your doorstep, it takes us a minimum of 5 to 7 days to get the shipment picked up. Prior to the pick up we will send you an envelope and a reverse pick up label. You will have to ensure that this envelope is handed to the courier partner with the product. Do not seal the envelope. The courier person will check the product and seal the envelope. Please note the courier will not accept the envelope if it is sealed. The return envelope will not be sent twice.
Please contact our customer support team incase you want to cancel the reverse pick up of your item. If the item is already picked up by the logistics partner from your doorstep then we would not be able to cancel the return. You will have to place a fresh order for the product.
When the below mentioned points are not fulfilled, returns and exchange will not be possible: 1. Return needs to be initiated with 2 days from the date of delivery 2. Item(s) of the order should not be used or damaged 3. Tags of the item should be intact and not removed 4. Items bought during sale are not eligible for return or exchange 5. When is the refund initiated? Once we have received the product in our warehouse a quality check would be done by our team. In case the product is found defective during the quality check then refund will be processed within 2-3 working days 6. What products are eligible for return or exchange? All RURIethnic products are not eligible for return and exchange. Only products that have manufacturing defects. Once we have received the product a quality check would be done by our team. In case the product is found defective during the quality check then: 1. Replacement will be issued at no additional cost. 2. Incase the product is unavailable in stock a refund will be issued in the account the payment was made from or in the form of RURIethnic store credit note. The credit note can be used to buy any product from the website or at our offline store.
We have logistic partners who would pick up the product from your doorstep and return it to us. In the extreme circumstances you maybe asked to send the products through a reliable courier, if reverse pickup facility is not available in your area. A maximum amount of Rs. 150 would be reimbursed as a coupon code towards the shipping cost. If you choose self ship the product, kindly address the package to the below mentioned address: RURIethnic 106B Seasons Business Square, Seasons Road, Sanewadi, Aundh, Pune 411007. Please note incase of product loss, the sole responsibility will be on you and you will not be eligible for any refund.
Once we have initiated the process for a reverse pickup, our logistics partner will pick up the product from your doorstep, it takes us a minimum of 5 to 7 days to get the shipment picked up. You will be notified on the day of the pickup. Incase any delay in pickups, our team will get in touch with you.
